LICENSING

Effective Date: February 2026

This Licensing Policy governs the use, reproduction, and distribution of all content published on the VÉLOIR platform (the “Platform”), including editorial imagery, photographs, text, graphic design, creative direction, and all related materials (collectively, “Content”). All Content is the exclusive property of VÉLOIR and its collaborators unless otherwise stated.

Default Licensing Terms

All Content published on the Platform is protected by copyright and is made available under an All Rights Reserved licence unless a specific licensing agreement has been executed in writing. No implicit licence is granted by the publication of Content on the Platform.

Viewing Content on the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes is permitted as part of normal browsing. This permission does not extend to downloading, storing, reproducing, distributing, or creating derivative works from any Content.

Permitted Uses

The following uses are permitted without a separate licensing agreement: personal, non-commercial viewing of Content through the Platform; sharing links to Platform pages via social media or other channels (provided the Content itself is not reproduced); and brief quotations from editorial text for the purpose of criticism, commentary, or review, provided that proper attribution to VÉLOIR is given and the quotation does not constitute a substantial portion of the original work.

All other uses require prior written authorisation from VÉLOIR.

Prohibited Uses

Without a valid licensing agreement, the following uses of Content are strictly prohibited:

Reproduction or redistribution of editorial imagery or photographs in any medium, whether digital or print. Use of Content for commercial purposes, including advertising, marketing, merchandise, or product packaging. Modification, alteration, or creation of derivative works based on any Content. Use of Content in presentations, publications, or media productions without written permission. Framing, embedding, or displaying Content on external websites or applications. Automated downloading, scraping, or systematic extraction of Content from the Platform.

Any unauthorised use of Content may result in civil and criminal penalties as permitted by applicable intellectual property law.

Commercial Licensing

VÉLOIR offers commercial licensing for editorial content on a case-by-case basis. Commercial licences may be granted for editorial syndication and republication; advertising and marketing campaigns; print and digital publications; exhibitions and public displays; and educational and institutional use.

All commercial licensing enquiries should be directed to licensing@veloir.luxe. Please include a description of the intended use, the specific Content requested, the territories and duration of use, and the distribution channels and estimated audience reach. Licensing fees are determined on a per-use basis and are subject to the scope, exclusivity, and duration of the proposed use.

Attribution Requirements

All licensed uses of Content must include proper attribution to VÉLOIR and, where applicable, to the credited photographer, talent, creative director, and other collaborators as specified in the relevant editorial dossier. The specific form and placement of attribution will be defined in the applicable licensing agreement. Failure to provide proper attribution constitutes a material breach of any licensing agreement.

Talent and Collaborator Rights

Editorial content published on the Platform is created in collaboration with photographers, talent (models), stylists, creative directors, and other professionals. These collaborators retain moral rights and, where applicable, specific usage rights as defined in their agreements with VÉLOIR.

Commercial licensing of Content featuring identifiable talent may require additional permissions and model releases. VÉLOIR will coordinate these requirements as part of the commercial licensing process.

Copyright Infringement

VÉLOIR respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same in return. If you believe that Content on the Platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notification in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) or equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction.

A valid notice must include identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the Platform; your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email; a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner.

DMCA notices and copyright enquiries should be directed to legal@veloir.luxe.

VÉLOIR reserves the right to update this Licensing Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Existing licensing agreements executed prior to any policy change will be governed by the terms in effect at the time of execution, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
